Wedding Par-tay!

Matron of Honor - Christin "Kiki" Blyumin
I have had the pleasure of knowing Mallory since the day she was born. At age 6 I was not very interested in a little sister, but its safe to say she has grown on me over the years and graduated from annoying little sister to best friend. I wouldn't have been able to raise my children without her! And she is one of the most important people in my life♡

Best Man - William "Will" Appleman
I’ve known Alex a lifetime, and I’m sure he thought “Will is so cool, how could my life get any better?” after we met in 1994… that is until he met Mallory! From climbing mountains together to grappling on (and off) the wrestling mat, Alex and I have been through it all. I’m proud to be right by his side on their wedding day!

Bridesmaid - Erin "Rin" Polak
I’m Mallory’s sister from another Mister and Miss (aka her sister-in-law). I first met Mal when she was in elementary school, when her brother Matt and I became friends. We’ve grown up together and celebrated many of each other’s important life milestones. For example, I’ll never forget Mal’s calm and steady presence in the hospital when I had my kids. I’m looking forward to celebrating this big milestone with her, and all the ones to come. ❤️❤️

Groomsmen - Jay "Silentbob" Bracht
Like half of the groomsmen, I was friends with Alex from back at AEPi. After college, we lost touch for a bit, but then thankfully we bumped into each other at a Nats game. We immediately reconnected and after that, it was stuff like trivia every week, game nights, and even working together at a job that Alex may have gotten for me. Even getting myself a girlfriend didn’t change things (except adding Renn Faires) and he was eventually the best man at my wedding.

Bridesmaid - Alexandra "Geeky" Selby
From the moment we met as wide-eyed freshmen at Mercersburg, Mallory and I formed an unbreakable bond, becoming the original 'Mallex' duo. Living next door to each other (a few doors down some years, a sore subject), we embarked on countless adventures, creating memories that have withstood the test of time. And while I won't be wearing baby blue on the big day, I couldn't be more thrilled to stand by Mallory's side, celebrating the love she has found with the other Alex :)

Groomsmen - Matt "Secrest" Guilfoy
From the Frat house to the Vermont House, Appleman and I lived it up. Boy was college a good time. And getting to be ski bums all winter made it even better. Not quite sure how we all made it, but here we go!
-
Bridesmaid - Katelyn "Shmatelyn" Johnston
I met Mal at LSW, before our freshman year of highschool. She introduced herself in a way I will never forget, "Hi! I'm Mallory. I'm ADHD and dyslexic." We roomed together for 3 years at Mercersburg, where, I can verify, she told me about her crush on Apples many times. No matter where life has taken us, Mal has always been one of the most important people in my life. I feel truly honored to stand next to her and Apples as they take the next step in their love story.

Groomsmen - Charlie "See-Men" Senness
When you enter college everyone says you will be making friendships that will last the rest of your life, but they never tell you who those friends will turn out to be. For me, I’ve been lucky to call Alex one of those friends. I’m honored to support Alex as he enters into this new phase of life and look forward to the many new memories ahead with Mallory as his side. Here’s to you Apples!!!

Bridesmaid - Marissa "Miss Marissa" Partelow
Mallory came into my life while we were both masked nannies early into the pandemic. Every day I looked forward to our long conversations while the kids played. We talked about our ongoing list of similar quarks and shared hilariously revealing anecdotes. Mallory has been my mental health anchor and my most enthusiastic confidant. So, when she reconnected with Alex, I was hooked on their love story and eager to listen to every detail just as she would do for me. I am so grateful to continue watch her love story with Alex unfold and feel privileged to be a part of their big day!

Groomsmen - Kyle "Gazelle" DeWeerdt
My path crossed with Alex's as we were just beginning to discover ourselves in college. We enjoyed the never-ending excitement at AEPi, sure enough, but it was the quiet days on a ski lift that I remember most fondly. Alex is a kind, thoughtful and wise friend. When he came to visit with Mallory, it was clear to see they complimented each other in all the right ways. I couldn't be happier for them both, and wish them a lifetime of happiness!

Bridesmaid - Chelsea "Chel" Shaut
Mal and I take day one best friends to another level ... Cathie brought Mallory to visit me at the hospital the day I was born, and we’ve never looked back. From diapers and dolls to dances and first dates, we’ve been through thick and thin together. It’s an honor to be by Mal’s side for her marriage to Alex. I couldn’t be more thrilled to celebrate their love, their beautiful story, and the start of their new chapter.
-
Groomsmen - Peter "Pedro" Taves
I met Alex in the 5th grade — he was the new kid. 25 years later, he’s still the closest friend I have from my childhood. No matter how many times I’ve moved from country to country, whenever we meet up we slip into things like no time has passed.

Niece & Bridesmaid - Sophie "Soph"
I have known Mal my whole life. Mal has been my aunt for twelve years and they all have been so fun and amazing. I don't think I can recall one moment of my life that was bland or not fun with Mal. I remember how excited she was when she and Alex started dating, and after I met him I finally understood why. There is not one other person in this world who could be more perfect than Alex for Mal, and I'm so excited to celebrate their wedding.

Nephew & Ring Bearer - Max "Maxzilla"
I have know Mal my whole life. My mom said Mal spent the first night in the hospital with me. Aunt Mal taught me how to say my own name when I was one. She stayed up late with me when I was a newborn so my mom could sleep. She helps me manage my feelings and just gets me. She also makes THE COOLEST birthday cakes ever. Aunt Mal is The Best and its so cool I get to be in her wedding!
-
Niece & Flower Girl- Lucy "Goose"
Aunt Mal was one of the first people to hold me the day I was born. So its safe to say we are deeply connected. With my love of water, food, dancing, sassiness and being naked, one might even argue that I am IN FACT, Mallory’s child and not my moms. I like to think of it as giving my mom the gift of Mallory's personality TWICE in a lifetime-a true gift.

Nephew & Ring Bearer - Hayes "Hayesalicious"
Every year Aunt Mal has spent special moments with all of the family from going to Holland to having family dinner. And let me tell you how pumped I am for the wedding and it kinda sounds like this: AHHHHHHH WOOOO HOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!! This will be my first wedding ever but it's gonna be the best!
